This is a friendly reminder that student belongings should be picked up on June 22 or 23 at Glencairn P.S. Please also return any school property such as library books and home reading books. For students returning to our school in September, all school technology may remain with the family through the summer. Pick up is based on your family surname and  the schedule below: 

AB – June 22 – 9:30 to 11:30 – Kindergarten Door

CD  – June 22 – 9:30 to 11:30 – Primary Door

EF – June 22 – 11:30 to 1:30 – Kindergarten Door

GHI – June 22 – 11:30 to 1:30 – Primary Door

JK – June 22 – 1:30 to 3:30 – Kindergarten Door

LM – June 22 – 1:30 to 3:30 – Primary Door

NOP – June 23 – 9:30 to 11:30 – Kindergarten Door

QRS – June 23 – 9:30 to 11:30 – Primary Door

TUV – June 23 – 11:30 to 1:30 – Kindergarten Door

WZ – June 23 – 11:30 to 1:30 – Primary Door

Any letter of the alphabet – June 23 – 1:30 to 3:30 pm 

Parent – Please only arrive at your designated date,  time and location based on your surname’s alphabetical order.  The WRDSB has an obligation to follow social gathering requirements set out by the Government of Ontario as well as the critical physical (social) distancing criteria outside and inside the facility at all times.

Please find information below which outlines the health and safety practices that must be followed for pick-up of your child’s belongings:

Before Coming to the School Site:

Before coming to the school it is imperative that the parent/guardian and child complete the Region of Waterloo Public Health COVID-19 Self-Assessment and 

    • Be free of COVID-19 symptoms
    • Not have been in close contact with any individual diagnosed with COVID-19 or exhibiting potential COVID-19 symptoms
    • If the self-assessment indicates recommendations for care/isolation, and/or the conditions a) or b) are not met, do not come to the school/site.

For parents arriving with a vehicle:

Please park your car and leave an appropriate distance between your vehicle and the one next to you.  Proceed towards the Primary or Kindergarten entrances where you see signs displaying alphabetical order according to surname. The signs will show which entry has your child’s belongings based on the first letter of your surname. Follow the cones and arrows to proceed through the pick-up areas. 

For parents arriving without a vehicle:
