Dear Families,
Thank you to everyone who is helping to make this week a great success. It is so amazing to see our Gray Jays again.
We do have a couple of reminders for everyone:
- Please complete the self-assessment Covid-19 Check up prior to coming to school every day
- *NEW* At this time, Public Health has advised of the following regarding the use of lanyards, clips, or mask “chains” for PPE (masks):
– Lanyards/clips/Mask “chains” may not be used
– Students who arrive with lanyards/clips/mask chains will be asked to remove them
- All students and adults must wear a mask when on school property
- Students need to maintain a 1m/3feet distance from their friends when they are in the designated lines
- Please try to come to school as close to 8:55 am as possible and head to your child’s class location right away
- The school parking lot is only for staff, please do not use the parking lot
During Instruction Time
- As shared by Public Health, masks can only be taken off outside when the teacher can ensure there is enough space for 2m/6feet distancing between students. If it is not possible, students will wear masks when they are outside.
- If you have scheduled an appointment for your child, please call the school from the parking lot. Please ‘build in’ extra time for this process
- Parents are not permitted in the school at this time
End of Day Procedures
- The parking lot as always is closed for pick up
- Please remain off school property until 3:15 pm as the students are still in class until that time. However, Kindergarten students will be ready for dismissal (direct handoff) at 3:15 pm.
Head’s Up
- The parking lot at Blessed Sacrament Church will be undergoing reconstruction and it will start any day. We encourage you to walk your child to school as public parking will be limited to street locations some time soon.
