Dear Glencairn Community,
The Rheo Thompson fundraiser chocolates have arrived! Your student will be bringing home their chocolate on Monday December 9, 2024. A reminder that some students ordered a significant quantity of chocolate and may need some adult support to get it home on Monday.
This week, 4A with Madelle Cable has been hard at work researching a self-selected interest topic. Students spent time identifying ‘credible’ sources, finding key information and writing detailed informative paragraphs to share their findings. Great job Grey Jays!
It is that time of year again to show how much we care!
In addition to all classes collaborative creating ‘buckets’ to fill following our assembly last week, it’s our annual “Glencairn Week of Giving” Food Drive from Monday December 9 to 13 organized by the leadership team under the guidance of Ms. Brown and Madelle Cable. The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is in need of food for families this holiday season.
Highly needed items include canned meats and fish, rice, pasta, pasta sauce, dry beans, 100% juice boxes, canned fruits & vegetables, jam/fruit spreads, peanut butter and your favourite non perishable item. Monetary donations are also welcome. Please consider donating to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region through Glencairn’s Week of Giving donation page at https://foodbank.donorsupport.co/-/NBFBGSCS
