A Message from Ms. Elmslie!
There was a very important School Day message sent to the families of students in grade 6. A reminder is merited here: New this school year, students in grade 6 (heading into grade 7 for the 2026/2027 school year) are required to OPT-IN to be provided a chromebook to use in grade 7 by the Waterloo Region District School Board. Families of students in grade 6, please complete the Elementary Chromebook Opt-In Form (Deadline – June 8, 2026) to ensure that your child(ren) have access to technology next year.
Today is a BEAUTIFUL day for our junior track and field event! The grade 4, 5 and 6 students are enjoying a variety of track and field activities like: standing long jump, baseball throw and 100 meter race. The day will conclude with everyone’s favourite-Tug of War! Thank you to the junior educators and our Glencairn alumni who are now attending Laurentian who have made this day possible!
Mark the date and don’t be late! The School Council’s annual Grey Jay Fest is fast approaching! Mark your calendars for Thursday May 28, 2026 at 5 o’clock to join us at the school for a variety of fun and free activities.
