Dear Glencairn Community,
On behalf of the Glencairn educator community, we wish you all the very best this Family Day weekend with the people, animals, hobbies and other things that bring you joy. Thank you for being a part of our education family; we feel very fortunate to be a part of yours.
To those beginning the celebration of Ramadan on Tuesday: Ramadan Mubarak! Many of our Glencairn classes have enjoyed reading Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr and/or Moon’s Ramadan to honour and celebrate Ramadan as well as increase all of our cultural competency and understanding of the month-long period of reflection and charity.
On Friday February 20, 2026 Glencairn will be hosting our own Olympics periods 6 and 7 outside! Please remember to have students dress warmly on Friday. There will be many ‘Olympic like’ events for students to participate in to have fun and work as a team because at Glencairn, “We are a caring, respectful team that never gives up!”
